Spring Sprint Event

Tomorrow begins the biggest event Scentsy has ever done. We will be traveling across the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico meeting roughly 20,000 of our Consultants. As part of the event I have the responsibility of directing 24 retail stores while on this adventure. The logistical challenges are astounding. Moving thousands of products, setting up 24 stores in 24 cities, traveling in "Scentsy wrapped" RV's, managing staff, the crowds...UGH. I am really anxious, but really excited too. The Scentsy Consultants have so much energy and enthusiasm, and I cannot wait to make them happy. I get to travel with the greatest staff on the planet. I can truly say I love them all. I will post pictures of the event as we move along. I cannot post any pictures of the RV's until we have officially began, but they are pretty impressive.

Keeping things simple.

If your here, its because your special to us. Today in church we had a great meeting about social media, technology and the influences, both good and bad. I realized that I was getting to wrapped up in things that were not important. Opening doors that I normally would not open. Eliminating Facebook is going to be a challenge. It's fun, and amazing to be able to chat with friends from many many years ago. However, just in the last week Jenn and I have both been contacted by people from our past who's motives are questionable. I just want to eliminate anyone from creeping into my family circle who could harm it.

I know Facebook has been easy to use, but keeping this blog private will help me rest easier that it is the safest way to keep in touch with the people who mean the most to me.
