If your here, its because your special to us. Today in church we had a great meeting about social media, technology and the influences, both good and bad. I realized that I was getting to wrapped up in things that were not important. Opening doors that I normally would not open. Eliminating Facebook is going to be a challenge. It's fun, and amazing to be able to chat with friends from many many years ago. However, just in the last week Jenn and I have both been contacted by people from our past who's motives are questionable. I just want to eliminate anyone from creeping into my family circle who could harm it.
I know Facebook has been easy to use, but keeping this blog private will help me rest easier that it is the safest way to keep in touch with the people who mean the most to me.

Hi Rob... I have to say I agree 100% with you. Kevin and I both ditched Facebook earlier this year unfortunately I was sucked back in (Kevin is sill holding his ground). Although I try very hard to keep it very transparent and Kevin has full access to my FB account. I agree though we must be very careful and protect our families and marriages. I am so happy you and Jen have joined the blogging world. We miss you your cute little family so much. You were such wonderful neighbors. And truly were a witness to Kevin and I and how we wanted to be in our lives and the people we want to be. Thank you!

ReplyDeleteI am hoping I can hold out and not join back up. But I am starting to feel like it was the best thing to do. The majority of them really were not my friends. Mostly people trying to who's lives were better than who's. We miss you guys so much. If you want a good deal on a house..I think I know someone. ;) I think we are ready to get REALLY aggressive with it.
